Praja Palana meeting focuses on welfare and development

The minister directed officials to remain accessible to the public and resolve issues immediately. She asked officers to visit villages regularly instead of staying confined to their offices.

Seethakka said the programme aims to ensure that all eligible beneficiaries receive government welfare schemes.

Government Adviser Mohammed Ali Shabbir asked officials to complete pending drinking water projects, road works and infrastructure projects on a war footing during the 99-day period.

He also stressed that development programmes for backward sections must be implemented transparently. Officials should ensure that welfare schemes reach all eligible beneficiaries.

Shabbir Ali further said authorities must prepare plans to utilise district resources to attract new industries. These initiatives can create employment opportunities for local youth.

During the meeting, district collectors presented action plans for implementing the programme in their respective areas.

Officials also decided to establish a special cell to address public grievances and ensure effective implementation of the initiative.
