New Delhi: The National Highways Authority of India will increase the FASTag annual pass fee from ₹3,000 to ₹3,075 for the financial year 2026–27.
The revised fee will take effect on April 1, 2026. The authority made the revision under the National Highways Fee (Determination of Rates and Collection) Rules, 2008.
The facility applies to eligible non-commercial vehicles with a valid FASTag. It allows travel through about 1,150 toll plazas on National Highways and National Expressways.
As a result, users will not need frequent FASTag recharges. Instead, they can pay a one-time fee for one-year validity or for 200 toll plaza crossings.
Moreover, the pass simplifies toll payments for frequent highway users. Therefore, many private vehicle owners have started using the option.

More than 56 lakh users have adopted the FASTag annual pass across the country. Consequently, officials say the scheme continues to gain popularity among private vehicle owners.
After users complete the payment, the system activates the pass within two hours. It then links the facility to the FASTag already attached to the vehicle.
Users can pay the one-time charge through the Rajmarg Yatra App. Alternatively, they can use the official website of the National Highways Authority of India.
The scheme launched on August 15, 2025. Since then, the authority has reported a strong response from highway users.
According to officials, the facility offers a convenient and cost-effective option for regular travellers on national highways.
