Revanth Reddy launches ₹1,674 crore Cyberabad development projects

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Monday launched Cyberabad development projects worth ₹1,674.74 crore, covering road infrastructure, civic amenities, education facilities and social welfare initiatives across the fast-growing region.

The Chief Minister inaugurated and laid foundation stones for multiple projects aimed at improving connectivity and strengthening urban infrastructure. He launched construction of the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation headquarters at a cost of ₹161 crore.

Revanth Reddy also laid the foundation stone for a flyover at Miyapur Junction. The project will cost ₹530 crore and is expected to ease traffic congestion in one of the city’s busiest corridors.

In addition, he launched a railway overbridge at Serilingampally with an estimated cost of ₹308 crore. The Chief Minister also inaugurated the Bachupally Flyover, which the government completed at a cost of ₹65.53 crore.

Officials said the projects form part of a broader plan to improve transportation and civic infrastructure in the Cyberabad region. As a result, commuters are expected to benefit from better connectivity and reduced travel times.

Cyberabad development projects strengthen connectivity

Chief Minister laid foundation stones for bridge and service road works along both sides of the Outer Ring Road. The government allocated ₹229 crore for these infrastructure works.

Furthermore, Revanth Reddy launched the Pipeline Road project from MGIT on Shankarpally Road to Manikonda. The ₹110-crore project aims to improve road connectivity in Hyderabad’s western corridor.

He also initiated construction of four-lane approach ramps near the Kollur Interchange. The project will connect two railway overbridges and cost ₹29.25 crore.

Moreover, the Chief Minister launched a road-widening project between Nanakramguda and Gachibowli. The government earmarked ₹26.50 crore for the work to improve traffic flow in the IT corridor.

Apart from transport infrastructure, the government announced major investments in education and social welfare facilities. Revanth Reddy laid the foundation stone for a Young India Integrated School with a sanctioned cost of ₹200 crore.

The Chief Minister also launched construction of Working Women’s Hostels in Madhapur and Nanakramguda. Together, the two facilities will cost ₹14.40 crore and aim to support women employed in the region.

Officials said these initiatives will improve public services and support the growing population in Cyberabad. Additionally, the investments are expected to enhance civic amenities and strengthen the region’s urban infrastructure.

The government believes the projects will create a more efficient transportation network while providing improved educational and social facilities for residents.
